Keeping a Friendly Environment
No child or family will be discriminated against based of race, sex, religion, creed or disability. Everyone is welcomed to participate. While this is certain we would like to keep these meeting free from controversial issues that are causing tensions across the country. Please keep these issues from plaguing the meetings. (When in doubt, leave it out)
Disability – No child will be turned away due to disability, however it is understood that the parent will be responsible for the supervision of their child and any additional attention they may require to help them understand the guidelines, lessons, and participation through the activity.
It is understood that our commnity activities are planned by parents who are not trained to deal with your child’s particular disability and can only offer the ordinary instruction to a child with the average level of capability. (They are however absolutely welcomed with your active supervision to any event.)
A liscensed venue will be solely responsible for making arrangments for accomodations for a disabled person to have access. It is understoond that reasonable accommodates may be made by hosting families but without putting undue duress on the family to accommodate a person with a disability. Parents should make the host aware of any special accommodations needed and request if it possible to suit them or their child. Similarly, parents are responsible to check with a venue on their own accord in regards to access for their specific needs.
